What the site is

PhobiaCheck provides self-check questionnaires, self-help plans and information for general guidance. Results are a plain reading of the answers you give, using rules shown on the page; they are not a diagnosis, a clinical score or professional advice (medical, psychological, legal or otherwise), and they do not replace a doctor or a therapist. If a fear is affecting your health, work or relationships, talk to a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

What the site is not

The self-checks and the Pro plan are educational self-help tools built from your own answers. They are not a medical device, a diagnosis, therapy or a substitute for a doctor, psychologist or therapist, and they are intended for adults. If fear affects your work, relationships or daily life, or if you have thoughts of harming yourself, contact a healthcare professional or your local emergency number; do not rely on this site in an emergency.

Where we quote published figures we name the source and the date we read it; sources change and we do not guarantee that they are current. You are responsible for checking any figure before you act on it.

Purchases

Paid products are sold through our merchant of record, Stripe (Managed Payments), under its terms of sale. Where a product is offered as early access, the delivery date is stated next to the button and our refund policy applies.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful. We may block access that harms the service.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Softmed Labs SRL is not liable for losses arising from reliance on the results or from interruptions of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
